Our third objective is to eliminate mineral deficiency.
Where are we going to get selenium? Where are we going to get zinc? If it is not in the soil, how is going to get in our fruits and vegetables? Well, a lot of times it does not and that is the reason we are seeing people so nutrient deficient. Actually two thirds of the nutrients that you need on a daily basis are the minerals. Dr. Kellas said that if there was only one product you could afford to get on, it would be the Mineral Supplement. Because so many of us are deficient in minerals (Remember I said that 93 - 97% of us are deficient). And we need to replace minerals and your water-soluble vitamins. Like with the Rice Bran Solubles - you need to replace those every six to eight hours. The water-soluble just means that our kidneys are naturally going to clear them in about six to eight hours. So that is why you will see on the minerals to take it three times a day - not to make it hard on you, it is so that you are protected all day long. An example of that is with heart attacks - when do most people die of a heart attack? About four o'clock in the morning, two o'clock in the morning, etc. When was the last time they took their nutrition or any supplements? Usually about 20 hours before. So we want to protect you 24 hours a day; not just for a few hours after you get up in the morning. There was a Cornell University study on selenium - we are finding a lot of people in the US are deficient in selenium - Cornell just added selenium back into people's diets and they saw the number of cancers drop in half; particularly the most deadly cancers. So it is extremely important. Now what you want to look for in a mineral product is are they bio-available (is it absorbable and able to get into your system) and the Kona Gold minerals are minerals that have actually been predigested by plankton and algae. What that makes them is ionized or charged. It gives them a positive or a negative charge - it makes them very easy to absorb in a capsule form. People are taking chelated (pronounced keylated) minerals (where a mineral is chelated to amino acid) that may sound good but if your body doesn't have enough acid in the stomach (like if you are taking medication and lower it) you can't even break that chelation bond. These minerals are minerals that are very, very easy to absorb. They actually did a study (University California at San Diego) showing that these minerals are able to get into the tissues and that is what we want. For the minerals to get into the tissues and get into the cells where we need them. The other thing that we are finding is that most of your mineral products are land based, they are from the breakdown of rock. And what they are finding often times is heavy metal contamination: like lead, mercury, cadmium - some of the things that have been linked to Alzheimer's. These minerals have been analyzed in a lab and none of the heavy metal contaminates are in there (because they are from under the ocean) also there is no radiation and no pollution. These minerals actually come from 2000 feet below the oceans surface, they have not been in contact with the surface in about 2000 years so that makes them very pure. If you look at the price on these Mineral Supplement minerals ($25 a month). Say your taking all three of these, now we have eliminated nutritional deficiency and were still looking at only $78 a month - only about a fourth of the national average of nutritional supplement spending.
