Chuck Cochran, D.C.
Dr. Cochran comes from a family that has always tried to incorporate attitude, proper nutrition, prevention of disease, and education into health care. His stepfather is a chiropractor who, in fact, is still practicing and lecturing in Sacramento, California; and his mother is a self-taught nutritionist, who helped advise patients in her husband's office for over 30 years.
Dr. Cochran and his brother are graduates of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Since graduation in 1984, his postgraduate education has included programs in skeletal radiography; diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injuries; operation and diagnostic procedures using thermographic techniques; and philosophy and clinical techniques of acupuncture.
He's been in private practice since 1984, and during this time he owned and operated a multi-disciplinary clinic that included practitioners from four different philosophical backgrounds. In the past, he served as director of nutritional development for a very large nutritional company. He has also had the opportunity to teach human anatomy and physiology at the college level.
He loves to teach and, consequently, finds himself talking on radio shows and speaking to local groups on chiropractic and nutrition. He and his wife, Jeannie, are presently living in Aptos, California.
